These companies initially heat the cast acrylic panels in purpose made ovens to soften the material, and then vacuum form the bath shell in a fully customized mould. Thereafter a baseboard and fiberglass/resin support system is added to strengthen the structure and after further oven curing the finished product is packaged and distributed via a well established and efficient wholesale and retail supply chain.

Cast Acrylic baths are supplied with a protective clear layer of cladding which ensures the surface remains scratch free up to the point of installation, but this must be removed once the product is installed.
